|
|
What is the generally accepted best substitute for bleach thats septic safe?
Our whole house goes to the septic, we cannot find ALL septic safe stuff, but often find 'biodegradeable to Aus Standard ya di ya" which is what we use n septic is running fine.
However we do miss good old Domestos bleach for the dunny etc.
I know we cannot use it on septic BUT surely there must be a powerful septic safe alternative to bleach out there??
Rgds

Well i will answer this myself since I now know.
The good old DOMESTOS is actually septic safe, the bleach we always used is septic safe and biodegradeable. Says so on the bottle.
Who'd have thought it?? |

I will have to check that out, as I am building a place in the country and will not have sewerage. I was hoping someone would have an answer to that one, as I had no idea.
